The Grand Priestess is a female Fox-hybrid of the series Maou-sama, Retry!, and the mother of Fire Fox and Blue Fox. She is one of the rulers of Animania alongside the Dragonborn and the legendary Dragon itself.
Appearance[]
The Grand Priestess appears as a voluptuous woman with sharp beautiful features and a pale complexion. She has straight, waist-length hair with her bangs hanging slightly over her face. Her attire appears based on a Shinto Priestess, but the top is shoulder-less and worn open in the front to display her bountiful cleavage. The skirt is cut short to reveal her legs which are covered in white stockings that reach past her upper thigh, and she wears a bracelet on each wrist resembling prayer beads. As a fox-hybrid, the Grand Priestess has a pair of large fury fox ears protruding from the top of her head, a trait she shares with her two children. When the two first meet face-to-face, Hakuto Kunai notes that she does not seem to have a tail like her offspring.
Personality[]
A mysterious being who has ruled over Animania since time immemorial, the Grand Priestess is a wise and powerful figure who issues the decrees of her superiors, acting as the voice of the Dragonborn Tatsu and the mysterious slumbering dragon from which the latter was created. She usually remains hidden within her shrine deep within demi-human territory, deterring visitors with a sacred barrier, and only allowing those she considers worthy to lay eyes on the temple let alone enter her domain. While she occasionally commands the renowned tribe leaders and militaristic Animadmirals, the Grand Priestess does not appear to interfere in the day-to-day activities of her people. While she loyally serves the true rulers of Animania, the ancient dragon rarely speaks and is known to lay quiet for centuries without waking. Likewise, the crafty fox-hybrid is free and willing to interpret its decrees however she sees fit; shown most prominently when the Dragon ordered the demi-humans not to interfere with Hakuto Kunai, but the Grand Priestess prompted Monkey Magic and his ape army to aid the self-proclaimed Demon Lord in his invasion of Hellion Territory, as they were not expressly forbidden from helping. Her strong-headed and mischievous nature puts her at odds with Tatsu, whom she openly teases without fear of repercussion. She is also known to keep her innermost thoughts private from the dragons, as she sensed something deep within Kunai that she believed dangerous, but chose to keep this detail a secret.
While she typically holds herself with grace, the Grand Priestess is prone to strong displays of emotion. This is seen through her love for her children, as she openly expresses her gratitude when Kunai rescued them from the sinister Devil Cale, and then lends her support immediately thereafter without fully considering the feelings of her superiors. Feeling the power of an entire world emanating from the Demon Lord, she admits to being intrigued by him more than any other man and falls madly in love. During their second meeting, she quickly agrees to his terms of a ceasefire between Animania and the human nations before inviting him to spend a millennia with her in the Divine Realm. He is turned off by her forwardness and begins to leave, but the fox lunges forward and latches onto his back, showing a strong sense of possessiveness towards those that she loves.

Volume 04[]
When Hakuto Kunai first approaches the Divine Realm, the Grand Priestess calls out to him from within her shrine, though does not physically appear before him. Aware of the recent commotion in Animania, she dispels his invisibility and expresses amusement that the one causing a ruckus in her country is actually human. The Demon Lord likens her domain to a Shinto Temple, prompting a surprised reaction from the Fox-hybrid, as such knowledge is considered ancient lore in her world. Sensing the power of the evil ring and the twisted aura of the corrupted Ophan, the Grand Priestess expresses these thoughts out loud, arousing the Demon Lord's curiosity. He attempts to learn more about the angels from her, but she outright refuses to help, citing his scary appearance as her reason before telling him to leave. Kunai is then confronted by her two children, who order him to stay away from their mother.
