The Great Empire was the nation that dominated 60% of the world in Infinity Game, the empire was known for its extravagance and violence. Their arrogant rulers enjoyed themselves at the cost of the suffering of conquered peoples.
History[]
The Great Empire was the nation created by Oono Akira in the Infinity Game to be the center of battles between players and NPCs. The game remains active for 15 years. With the end of the server contract and the end of the game, Oono Akira was dragged to another world in the copro of the biggest villain of the game Hakuto Kunai.

However, the Grand Empire’s attack stopped after obtaining 60% of the world.
Their territory had become way too big.
Of course, the countries that had become vassal states were not going to stay silent, and terrorism and coup d’etats were running rampant.
And then, with many clashes for interest on the inside, the divisions got more pronounced, and the Grand Empire, like a whale pulled onto land, couldn’t handle its own big body and was unable to move.

The Nightless Castle is the last area of the game where Hakuto Kunai along with his close aides are all in. Not only his close aides, there’s also 2,000 soldiers protecting it, and it is the last defense line. It is a bloodstained place where many players have been defeated for more than a decade. The Nightless Castle has only fallen once.

The Great Empire ruled through violence, the rich benefited greatly, and the poor lived in extreme poverty. The empire killing games, were used for entertainment of all social classes, but also a form of intimidation.
The Rise and Fall of the Grand Empire[]
At some point the Grand Empire began a great conquest of territories by swallowing up various nations of different ethnicities. His conquests were marked by bloodshed and oppression. The empire's advance seemed impossible to be stopped, but the great grudge generated by its conquests led to an endless series of revolts in the conquered territories, exploiting the internal conflicts and the great corruption of the employees of the Grand Empire, the free nations began to counter attack against the previously invincible empire. The empire was forced to abandon its ambitions of world conquest for not being able to deal with all the revolts and extraneous attacks limited to 60% of the world's territories.
In order to show its power to enemy nations and suppress revolts, a plan was put in place. Infinity Game was created to intimidate and amuse its bored citizens, in addition to cleaning up part of the ever-growing corruption by throwing the rebels, corrupt officials, traitors, criminals and even the imperial family of the Grand Empire in an arena to kill and be killed for the fun of divine people (citizens of the Empire).
In order to show its power to enemy nations and suppress revolts, a plan was put in place. Infinity Game was created to intimidate and amuse its bored citizens, in addition to cleaning up part of the ever-growing corruption by throwing the rebels, corrupt officials, traitors, criminals and even the imperial family of the Grand Empire in an arena to kill and be killed for the fun of divine people (citizens of the Empire).
Despite occupying 60% of their world, it too had been immobilized by internal conflict, much like a beached whale. Unlike an ordinary beached whale, which could do nothing but wait for death, the Empire thrashed its tailfin, massacring countless citizens through the Game. Their seemingly eternal rule came to end when, at the hands of the players, the 《Nightless Castle》 fell. Watching the symbol of the Empire crumble to the ground gave the scattered Résistance the push they needed to stand up. The world’s events from that point on seemed inevitable. The Game’s credits rolled, depicting the Empire’s fall and each nation gaining their independence. The black-and-white montage made it look like those events were somehow historically factual, as well as served as the bittersweet conclusion to the Game.
