Eagle is a female demihuman of the series Maou-sama, Retry!.
Appearance[]
Eagle has a fragile appearance, and wings that were cut off as punishment or in combat during one of the many northern wars. Her hair was also visibly and forcibly cut short.
In the past, Eagle used to have long hair and large wings that enabled her to fly in the air.
Personality[]
Eagle is shy and doesn't like to cause problems or get involved with other people except Luna.
Plot[]
Eagle was a childhood friend of Luna before her rise as a Holy Maiden. Sometime before Luna came to power, Eagle was found by the church that sold her as a slave to the northern nations. A Tsardom of Light priest found her and was taking her to the demon kingdom in Hellion.
When Eagle was a child, she always stayed by Luna’s side and always played with her as much as possible. One day, Eagle learned that Luna had accomplished her goal and became a holy maiden, as she was making a flower crown for Luna, she was taken and imprisoned by a knight. She was told that she was to be executed simply because she was a Demi human. Eagle was placed in a guillotine and was about to be beheaded, when a priest appeared and revealed that she was to be exiled not executed.
After being exiled, Eagle found her way to a poor village and hid there by pretending to be a poor commoner and stayed there for years. Until one day, her wings grew too large, which exposed her as a Demi human and as a result the villagers ended up kicking her out. Eagle ran away and hid nearby where she would often take food from carriages that were attacked by bandits or monsters. One day, she saw there was a commotion in the village that she used to stay at and saw that the Tsardom knights had come to take her.
The knights had set fire to the village and murdered the villagers one after another. One of the knights asked where Eagle was, and learned that the villagers had already kicked her out of their village, but the knights refused to believe them and massacred the remaining villagers. Eagle while witnessing this, blamed herself for this as she believed that she was cursed. Eagle fled once again and ended up at a cave near a shoreline and stayed there for a long time. She had water and a source of food as she caught fish to eat daily, until one day she saw a human in danger and helped right away.
After helping the man, she was about to fly away when to her surprise they thanked her and accepted her into their village. For the next few years, she lived a happy life, until the knights from Tzardom learned about where she was and came after her again. She watched in horror as the knights massacred all the villagers one by one, Eagle attempted to save some of them and fought the knights. However, one of the knights managed to sever one of her wings and pinned her down, they cussed her out, but she in turn boldly declared that she was the friend and attendant of Luna Elegant.
During her time as a slave, Eagle was treated poorly and had her wings severed and her hair shortened. Eventually, she was to be used as a spectacle in a certain country and tied to a cross to appease the crowd. However, that was when the Satanists launched their attack and proceeded to randomly kill the citizens and even summoned a demon. Eagle, however continued to blame herself as she was cursed and brought death and destruction wherever she went. However, to her shock and surprise Luna herself appeared before her and promptly defeated the demon and the two tearfully reunited.
The artificial angel summoned by the high priest attempted to kill them, until Hakuto himself arrived and killed the artificial Angel and easily defeated the knights. Eagle while happy that she was able to reunite with Luna, told her that they couldn’t be together as she was cursed. However, to her shock and bewilderment, Hakuto easily broke her curse, finally ending her torment. Afterwards, Eagle officially became Luna’s attendant and continued to live with her in Rabbi Village.
