Carnival is a Mid-Class Devil, and a minor antagonist of the series, Maou-sama, Retry!. He is summoned to the Holy City to cause mayhem and destruction before being brutally slaughtered by Hakuto Kunai.
Appearance[]
Carnival is a hideous devil who appears to be nothing short of a monster; possessing a disproportionately large head, bulbous slanted eyes, a broad upturned nose with wide nostrils, pointed ears, a long pointed tongue, and a gaping maw filled with razor sharp teeth. His skin is a murky grayish brown color and he possesses a pair of straight horns which protrude from the sides of his head at 30 degree angles. Chin-length black hair hangs loosely and is slicked back in the front, revealing his forehead. True to his name, Carnival is seen dressed in a pierrot outfit consisting of a baggy light green shirt with large yellow buttons, loose-fitting white pants, matching boots, long sleeves ending in frills, and puffy red shoulders decorated with yellow stripes. He also wears a thick frilly collar around his neck and carries a large guitar on his back, completing his image as a performer. The monstrous demon walks with his knees slightly bent in a squatting position, but due to his immense size, he still towers over humans by a large margin. His abnormally long arms end in a pair of gnarled hands with four claws growing out of each.
Shortly after his introduction, his left horn is partially broken by a stone tossed by the Demon Lord, who describes the clownish devil's garb as looking "ridiculous".
