Hakuto Kunai/Akira Oono[]
In Infinity Game, Akane had a mostly professional relationship with her superior. While unruly with a penchant for ignoring orders, she was known for acting on her own judgment, doing whatever she could to further the Demon Lord's ambitions. She was also notorious for taking up missions that involved assassinating high profile targets, even without the direct consent of the Demon Lord, causing her performance to vary the most out of all his advisors. While she was loyal to the Grand Empire and its ruler, Akane saw her work as necessary for surviving in the war-torn world they lived in.
After being summoned by Kunai into a fantasy world, Akane is shown to address him by name while speaking freely in his presence, openly displaying her irreverent and extroverted nature. Once he explains their current predicament, she immediately determines that they were both victims of the "isekai" plotline used in modern anime, claiming that if he is the "Demon Lord" then she should be the "hero". He rebukes her line of thought, and she remarks that he is acting different than usual. While on a dangerous mission in demi-human territory, Akane discusses her misgivings about the troubled world they came from, confiding that she was angry at her God for putting her in such a terrible place, but despite this, at the same time, Akane admitted that she loved him, with all her heart, and that he cared for her in his own way.
Seeing his reactions, she deduces that the current Hakuto Kunai is embodying the soul of this mysterious creator, but does not reveal her hypothesis to him. This makes her the second advisor to suspect the Demon Lord's true identity, with Yu Kirino being the first. Ironically, Akira Oono summoned her believing that Akane's "idiotic" nature would prevent her from suspecting him of anything.
It is later implied that Akane has feelings for him, as she later asks a woman to teach her how to win a man's heart, specifically stating her target is a stoic 45-year-old man.
Ren Miyaouji[]
Growing up in an orphanage together, Akane has been acquainted with Ren for several years. While both girls are 16 years old, the girls are opposite in terms of personality; Akane is described by Akira Oono as an extroverted geek, while Ren is a stoic prodigy with an icy exterior. In spite of these differences, both are equally kind and caring, and make a great team when paired together for missions. Upon being summoned into the fantasy world, Akane wanted to see her friend and demanded Kunai summon Ren immediately, which he initially denied. She also expresses a desire for them to live in a house together as roommates.
Yu Kirino[]
As the type of person who always fights to defend the weak and innocent, Akane's nature heavily clashes with the mad scientist. Because Yu enjoys using people as experimental subjects and enjoys torturing her victims, she displays a mutual dislike of Akane and Ren. During her mission to Animania with the Demon Lord, Yu sends her a message warning her not to get in their master's way, angering her. While Kunai claims the mad scientist has become less sadistic since arriving in the new world, Akane argues that Yu has become even more ruthless, claiming she would now do anything to please him regardless of what. This incident shows that despite her dislike of the mad doctor, she has a deep understanding of Yu's twisted personality.
